It has arrived...much hyped,much awaited..Volvo Ocean Race..the first ever such event organized in an Indian city.Started in Alicante ,Spain ,sailed through the Atlanantic ,nailing the shores of Cape Town ,into the Indian ocean and now onto the beaches of the Queen of

 Arabian Sea...The life at the extreme continues

The mood and the energy 

is high in the Volvo Oce

an race village.The atmosphere has a

 special aura that we have never witne

ssed.All together its a good experience and a 

great feeling the I too became a part of this International event.

Ericsson 4,3s ,Telefonica blue,blacks ,Puma

,green dragon,delta lloyd and team russia - 

all came before the scheduled date.I was fortunate enough to spectate the a

rrival of Ericsson 3 ,finished 3rd at the Cochin stop over.There is a lot of

 diference in what we see in various sports channels

 and what we see in front of our eyes.I was amazed by

 the size of the mast and the overall size of the yacht.Itz really

 huge,but seeing through the 14 x 14 inche frame itz miniatureized to a considerable scale.A team consist of 11

 members and a media

 personnel.They were busy folding the wind screen and bayin the yacht to the deck.

Second time I went after the

 inaguration of the Race

 Village.After the checking ,we scraped into the  village.I was fascinated by the festive ambience experinced inside the village.I was also not dissapointed ....coz the collection was beyond my xpectat

ion..The foreign n desi girlz provided the

 much neede

 entertainment for my rotten eyes.Itz been a long time since my colege days i am doing this.After the terrible queue we steped into the Volvo Showroom.A variety o

f Vovlo cars with all the latest and sophisticated gadgets,truck engine

 ,propeller and so many engineering systems were very well organized along with 

charming young Models .Which was more beautiful?? well i can sey both..!!heh,.neck on neck.!

If the line up for showroom was terrible then the same for simulator was horoundus...!!After tryin out the queue for 15 mintz and realizing that

 itz a daunting task,we gave up moved into the Kerala Tourism Trade Fest.Hmm..but this was dissapointing.Showed all the qualities of kerala Government.Most of the stalls were vacant and those there were of poor quality.We brushed the stalls within

 5

 minutes..stormed into the Food fest auditorium. The odour was irresistible.But our pocket resisted the irresistiblity of our mind.!! For mere satisfation ,we njoyed the Chilli-vada as if we were having hyderabadi dum biriyaani.!Filling our stomach with so called 'satisfaction',we sugared with vanilla cone icecreams.I found out enough time and space for carriying out my skeching work in between these activites...As i was spell-bound i also made the caricature on the beauty of these ladies..Wondering ..heh...without them the event would have been a flop.,life would have been a boring affair..Evensome time I  think its for them we men are living for.!!!heh...Its too much to speak about them...As in the case of any festivalz...

I carried my 4 megapixel canon digi cam that proved instumental in framing those precious moments into a 1 gb memory card...to share those moments with my friendz...those who were not able to pride oneself with these flashes.

So,i am not keen on repeating what has been written and said over there.Overall ,the event  turned out to be a huge sucess.Claps to the volvo ocean race committee,Cochin port trust, the CSGF personnelz ,local support and mostly the elegant, exuberent ladies who brought the colour and spice to the programme.Really hope this event will be flourishing in the coming years too..

Attacks and afterattacks..

For last one week,we are witnessing what we should'nt.The smell of blood,red flesh and a lot of dead bodies-these scenes  created a pulse in us.A pulse of anger!!!Well ,what ever we say, the past is past and we can't change that.What we can do is to channel our anguish into action.An action to eliminate the terrorist,an action to prevent these insanity .A determination to make India a safe nation.

Some of my earnest opinions of what should be done are listed below.Like everyone ,these are my personal opinions,some may be practical and some are not.

1. Perdicting and Contending the attacks : An effective and sustainable mechanism should be formulated on an  immediate basis to  ensure that these anti social creatures are checked even before they enter into our territory.

- Installation of the most modern and sophisticated gadgets where ever possible,

-Equipping our military forces with the latest technogical weapons that are combatible with any enemy,prevent

-re-orientation of our intelligence and police cell with 'inteligent' and 'efficient' personnels,

- Effective arrangements for the collection of information regarding any suspicious act...etc are some of measures that comes under the prevention of terrorist attaks.

2.Centralized security system : Our current structure is not good enough.The loop holes are many which the attackers can mobilize.A centralized security system will ensure better sharing of information ,better co-0peration and eliminating internal fights and egos between different departments .It will also enable us to act quickly according to the environment.There was a talking point on the delay for the arrival of the commandos.Had it not  been the case, we could have reduced the casualities.Any way ,now no place for had's and if's.

3.Deputize politicians with professionals : There are a large sector of people who see politics as a way to earn their daily bread.Even though it is impossible to eliminate or aviod them,the political parties should show some resposiblility in forting the important and diplomatic positions with experts and professionals.Those who know the technical and mangement aspects of their concerned field.

The days of tradional politics is over.It is the era of professionalism and that has to be implemented in to our constitution.What is happening at present in Indian politics is now way forgivable.

4.Treatment of the commandos : A small eg. -our Indian cricket team arrives into Mumbai wankade stadium in luxury buses.Look how these commandos,who faught selflessly for the country came to the attack spot??..Does it sounds awkward??.A change in this attitude is needed.Treat them well.They are the diamonds of our country.Life of each commando is precious.Things should be done to increase their moral level.Increasing their remuneration,providing with technologically advanced weapons ..and a lot more has to be done..do dat.!!

5.Take the cops away from the personal securty of politicians : About 10000 security personnels are takin guard of about 400 odd politicians.Such an absurd figure!! Clearly,they have been often misused by these politicans.Those Shiv Raj Patils and Raj Thackerys are mocking jokers.Why should they be safeguarded?Utilize the service of these guard for the protection of the public.

6.Pressurize Pakistan to take immediate actions : What all measures we have taken ,it will not be sufficient if our neighbours and one time brothers continue to a migrane.A per the recent scenario ,where some of the US,Israel,UK,Japanese,Australian,italian citizens became the victims,these attacks can be seen as a warning not only for India,but for the whole world.This is the time we have to get the support of these nations and put pressure on Pakistan to take the actions ASAP.

7.Each of us to be more alert : When officals forget their duty,we have to act responsibly.Due to technical or some other reason,the officials may not be able to spread their eyes to each and every corner.Its the duty of we, citizens,to ensure that right information reaches the right person and right steps are taken .At the end of the day it is the life of the common man that matters.

Much more can be done.The terrorist has no religion,no face and no soul but some inhuman hidden agendas.We have been on the passive side for a long time.Now ,its the time to act.If not now,then we will never.

What is karma in life?.

All these time i am searchin for d meaning of karma.Hard to define..hard to make it happen..Hard to figure out and hard to find out. Our karma lies in our behaviour? Is it dealing wit the work we do.?? Does it means d things v did in past n do in future?..no idea...

Gita provided me wit a ray..into d rite direction..but again as per d definition of ray..n infinte line segment...dont know d point i started n dont know wer is it leadin to...hop d picture may be getttin clear and clear as my voyage continues thru the pages if Gita.

Its a complicated word in english,taken from sanskrit.Definig it is imposssible.Karma for a living bieng is wat according to oneself.it can be gud and it can be bad in others view.But wat ever it is its upto onez privacy.itz juss smog beyond this point for me.

Body ,life n soul are d 2 things datz necessary for a karma..In this kalkki era,manz killing man.hez killin other species..hez destroyin d nature...all this things rightly predicted ages before thru vedaz nad puraanas..how did they du that..? wat source of enlightment did they get to predict d karma of human after centuries..? how can god ccontrol d karma of each and evry life on earth?? is karma independand of god??...more questions rise as more gettin answers...unendin..

When GOD doesnt support me....

The dayz moving thick and fast...Thru d tide of time...sme things of us moves apart..sme others loomz into us...sme times of joy overshadowed by times of sorrow...

Engineering is a history to me....n wen bad options which i chose (bad or good??..heh)..as it turned out to be..CAT...neither i cudnt crak it nor i was satisfied....instead it cracked my life...i feel like all d burden..evryone(frndz,family),evryone sayz itz part of life...heh,,..n itz as easy to say dese words...but bearin the pain is all of a sudden a tottally different scenario...one whu xperience ..knows how hard it is..

Cat once again..promised much for me in d begining of evaluating d answers...but den towards d end..verbal section..went terrible .....think wat wud ve happend iff sme of dem which i guessed ve went rite??..well infact all of dem went rong..not only in english but n all...really derz no support from d almity..!!

Dont kno wen i vl get his support..Don kno wat test is ahead of me...

letz see....whether its a mountain to climb or ocean to ship..ny wayz i  hop i ve dat power to see d other end...

My hostelz...i ve changed 3 out of four!.each room seemed smethin special to me..
My bed.which was wit me for dis yrz....heh..which i mercilessly sacrificed for bein unfit to carry.!

My clz roomz .,frm 1st yr to 4th..kept changing.,but 1st and last was equally borin being isolated.!2nd n 3rd were awsme,in d sense of sketching.V ruled d clz..v ruled d college..yes .mexxstallianz..we cal ourself.

Dose profz n lectz,whu did an excellent job in moulding us into new generation techiez. Who supported us all d way..in all our activites.Espcially our advisor..Roshan Sir..without whum our crse wud ve been a boring encounter.All othrz whu registerd our undeserved attendences,..but v did a gr8 job by staying away and not distrbing d mood of d clzez.!

D xamz ...i ad to get rid off..! total 180 xamz ..!i wonder hew i managed all of dem...dose dayz were filled wit tension...wew..but it was sme xperience...itz like u hate it wen it cmes n love it wen itz not der..!

D back gate n dose junior galz! Back gate was our huntin grnd, n d girlz wer our preyz. Dat was d region wer stallions became lions. Dey wer pretty patient n co-orported with us..d pics of dose lovely ones still cherishes. thnk u for not makin an issue.V luv u! Dis was d main reson for our existence....

My frndz, whu like dat in every other's life, played a valuable role ,influencin n develpin my character,my thouts,n my believes..Dose whu made fun at my expense..n ones whum i made fun of...dem whu inspired me in bunkin clsez withut ny despair.Who taught me d art of Spirtitng d soul..both with smoke n scotch.Above all whu helped me in gettin out of diz enggi hell unscathed even once..All those sketchin boyz ..d masters in wild sketchingz..d enjoyment v got..d plesure v attain..It take sme effort to forget all dose dayz..

New-Clear Deal...

For the last two days we have seen a lot of dramas. Vote for sale,vote for cash,cash for abstain, so on...Dramas having quick twist and turns.A dramas filled with suspense. vagera vagera.
And at d end..like in alll thrillers UPA tasted d victory..boasting dey conured d world..any way all these dramaz,hypes,horse tradingz,cash dealing are der every time...Differnce is dat eariler evryone used to do it through the backdoor..but nw itz moved on to d center stage..
All these started with d N-deal...wether to be signed or not.According my personnel opinion and what i ve read,N-deal is an inevitable one.We are moving into an era in which there is goin to hve an acute scarsity of energy.So it is high time nw that we have to start lookin for othr options.Power generation according to experts is 15-20 percent below the requirement.This is largely affect the people in the form of perpectual power shortages and outages.As time goes on,dis gap seem to grow.n diz will surely have an adverse effect to the attainment of targeted 8% growth in d economy.
We cannot depend largly hydro-electric energy because it coverz a huge space,displacin often lot of people n depleting d forest resource.We cannot depend heavily on coal because it causes pollution.We cannot opt for solar enegy because itz costly to store, not available all d time and not at all reliable.Researches are been goin on worldwide to use more n more renewable resources to develp power on a regular basis..Therefore at dis moment of time .a practical option left in front of us is d atomic energy.Itz non polliuting and does not add to d green house effect.More over with a small amont of fuel a very large amount of energy can be generated.Uranium dat is enriched over here is not of the highest quality.More over ders not much fuel left in India.Countries like Australia ,Canada are d largest producers of uranium.They wlii provide Uranium only if we sign the deal.
Although the option for atomic fuel is supportive. The deal as such is not agreeable .Actually no one knowz wats der in d deal..wat is d content.wat r d agreementz..The govt is to be blamed for complicating the matter .They shuld have made it transparent..According to the experts the Hyde act ,which provides legal sanction for the123 agreement with india has two sides to it.While some sayz itz necessary to sign d deal for ensuring the uninterrepted supply of power ,others says it forms only 3% of India's total energy mix.
In this back drop the Govt. of India needs to make an honest judgement on wether diz deal is vialble and can be done in all termz acceptable to our country.It needz to be done if d energy needs are to be addressed amidst all the power playz and political intermissionz.
